Cottage Grove(Leaving)

The old homestead was looking pretty good the night before we left Cottage Grove. I thought I lost this and several other pictures when my camera was dropped because the camera would not let me review them. I found out they were still there only when I downloaded them to my computer. Little did I know that this was just an omen of losses to come related to my camera. M and I left Cottage Grove in the afternoon about the time we planned (one hour later than we said). We took two vehicles since we wanted to play golf. The clubs would not fit in my car and I did not feel comfortable unloading all my worldly possessions for packing and repacking. We headed up I-5 and were right on time to reach R&M's place up until we got within 3 miles of our exit. It took us 22 minutes to go those last 3 miles, then another 15 to get to their house. A2 greeted us as we pulled up to their door.
