Cape Lookout

I arrived at Cape Lookout State Park around 8:30pm. It was cold with low-hanging ominous clouds. I parked the car in a site then rode my bicycle down to the registration booth. I paid my dues, then stopped off to take some pictures of the ocean. I took a few then notice the battery low light just before my new camera went dead. I had taken many more pictures with my old camera and left it on for hours without it ever going dead, so this was disappointing. Back at camp, I decided to check my voice mail. I had one message, my camera had been found. I was elated and immediately packed my new camera for return to Costco. I set up camp and took a nice long walk on the sandy beach. Even with the dark clouds over my head I thought tomorrow would be a better day as I planned to return to Fort Canby to retrieve my lost camera.
